FATO Connect – Account & Data Deletion

This page explains how users of FATO Connect can request deletion of their account and/or specific personal and business-related data.

1. Account Deletion

Users may request full deletion of their FATO Connect account at any time.

How to request account deletion:
Email us at: pamela@fato.co.za
Subject: Account Deletion Request – FATO Connect
Please include:
  • Registered
    email address
  • Full
    name
  • Company
    or role (if applicable)
What will be deleted:
  • User
    profile (name, email, role)
  • Login
    credentials
  • Associated
    training and workflow records linked to the account
2. Data Deletion (Without Account Deletion)

Users may also request deletion of specific data without deleting their account.

How to request data deletion:

Subject: Data Deletion Request – FATO Connect

Please specify the data you want removed (e.g. invoice, training record, document).

Types of data that may be deleted:
  • Invoices
    and proforma invoices
  • Training
    submissions
  • Uploaded
    documents (e.g. POP, reports, registers)
3. Data Retention

Certain data may be retained for legal, tax, audit, or compliance purposes.

  • Financial
    and approved invoice records may be retained
  • Audit
    logs may be retained for system integrity
  • Retention
    period: up to 5 years where required by law
4. Processing Time

All deletion requests are processed within a reasonable timeframe after verification.
